How We Do a Slab Leak Repair

Posted on April 2, 2020 Written by Bryan Graham

If you need a slab leak repair, a lot of plumbing companies will try to persuade you to repipe your house. Normally we can fix the problem at a much lower cost as Master Plumber Bryan Graham explains in this video. Call us at 281-302-6710.

How We Do a Slab Leak Repair

Summary of the Slab Leak Repair Video

So if you have a slab leak, a lot of companies will try to sell you a re-pipe. We can come out and isolate that leaking line and figure out where the actual slab leak is.

Normally what happens is you have loop copper piping in the ground, which means that they’ve run all your water lines under your slab. Sometimes those lines will rupture and it will cause a leak under your slab.

You’ll start seeing water coming up through the base of your walls through the sleeves of the piping. That’s sometimes caused by installation problems. Maybe the sleeve was nicked or the piping was kinked when it was installed many years ago. Now all of a sudden it’s formed a leak and it needs to be repaired.

Good experience and honestly. Reasonable price. Honest is very important. My house was under slab water leaking. We found a “One 1 Call ” plumbing company and they told lie. First time, they told us our house needed to change all water pipes and it was the ONLY Solution. They quote the price was over $11000 something. It was too expensive… we refused. After about 20 mins, the manager told us he could use ANOTHER Solution and the price was over $3000 something …..it is a dishonest company. Then we found Graham Plumbing from googles and they had many good reviews. The 3 staffs were smart to solve my house under slab water leaking. They spent 3 hours and the Graham charged US $1150. I would highly recommend to all my friends!

A Mark, 5 Star Google Review

The slab leak repair process would be that we would need to find each end of that loop that’s leaking. Then we’d isolate the leading section of pipe and cap it off from the rest of the system. Then we’d install the new pipe needed to get water back to the section that had been capped off.

So if you need a slab leak repair, please give us a call at 281-302-6710. Please check the reviews and testimonials we’ve received from our customers over the years.
